This website allows you to send e-cards by sharing a link through e-mail, messenger application or social media. It started out in 2007 as the Dutch e-card website ‘fliefd.nl’. Currently it is focussed on more than just Valentine’s Day and contains artwork from many different artists. The concept, however remained unchanged over these years.
This website was originally built using the prototype framework. In 2019 it has been completely rewritten in plain javascript. It uses Jekyll, a static site generator, to seperate the content from the layout. It can be considered a JAMstack website.
Usecue BV is the company that has built this website. Our company e-cards are also on this website, which allows us to easily send out birthday/christmas/new years wishes in our company style.
